Portland State grad transfer joins sister at Nevada
Reno, Nev. (BVM) 鈥 The last time Kylie and Alyssa Jimenez played in a game with one another was during the 2019-20 season as opponents, but next season, the sisters will be rocking the same jerseys.
Kylie has committed to Nevada as a graduate transfer and will join Alyssa who is a sophomore on the Wolf Pack. The 5-foot-6 guard spent the last four seasons at Portland State where she started all 122 games during her career and became just the third player in school history to tally at least 1,000 points, 500 assists and 250 steals.

One of the most accoladed players in Portland State history, Kylie began her collegiate career as the Big Sky freshman of the year and was a two-time All-Big Sky third team honoree. She averaged 10.9 points, 4.5 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 35.1% from 3-point range during her first three seasons in Portland.
Kylie transfers to Nevada with one season of eligibility remaining and will provide experience and strong ballhandling. The Portland State great 鈥 who ranks top 10 all-time in Big Sky History in both assists and steals 鈥 is also teaming up with her sister, Alyssa, who started 30 of 31 games for the Wolf Pack as a freshman in 2019-20. The sophomore, however, suffered a season-ending injury three games into this past season but was averaging five points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals though three contests.
The sisters last played against each other two seasons ago when Kylie helped propel Portland State to an 80-75 win over Nevada with 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
