Thomas Dale freshman quarterback Minter picks up college offer from Virginia
CHESTER, Va. (BVM) — Some college athletic offers carry more weight than others. That鈥檚 especially true if it is a student-athlete鈥檚 first collegiate offer. Perhaps none could get much bigger than the offer Thomas Dale freshman quarterback Ethan Minter received April 1.
Minter announced on his Twitter that he received a scholarship offer to continue playing football at in-state University of Virginia. Not only was the news huge for the fact it was a Division I offer to an in-state institution no less, but it was also the freshman鈥檚 first collegiate scholarship offer.
